The first couple of months of the year passed in the usual post-holiday, website-is-launching-don't-talk-to-me haze. For added fun, Jacob worked with his dad's growing rental business to purchase another rental home so that was some added
Jacob also took an elbow to the eye during a church basketball game and helped the kids with their bikes.
Carolyn hiked some more Arizona mountains (read: large hills) for funsies and finally got Zizah to sit still long enough to get some Jamberry on her (so cute!).
Hazel lost more teeth, let Mommy play with her pretty hair, and got called Cinderella a lot.
Speed continued to do well with karate and practice running with Mommy to get ready for the Bubble Run and earn purple stars for his karate GI (shirt).
Zizah was seriously cute and tried really, REALLY hard to get the food in her mouth. We think.
Thor went from scooting to crawling to standing to climbing to walking way. too. fast. Oh, and he's massively adorable.
How can babies sleep like this???

We also managed to squeeze in a fun weekend trip to Cottonwood to hang out with Jacob's sister's family because cousin-time is the best.
Board games and Mountain Dew - win.
