The school here does field day in April because it's really just too hot by May to do it then. I was more than happy to skip field day but Hazel asked me to come and watch her compete so I did. Not that they really allow much in the way of competition (I will not rant, I will not rant, I will not rant) but she still had fun participating with her friends and having a snow cone.
