Right now, Jaxson is wailing, which he now does almost nightly, anytime after 9 pm. He is truly inconsolable until the boob meets the mouth. Daytime finds him scooting all over the condo, going for walks with Mom and Dad, and eating cool stuff like spinach, squash, and especially apples and bananas. He attends his playgroup when he can, where, amongst the gaggle of young children, there are two others small ones that were born in the same week as he was. Of all the children, he seems particularly fond of Elsie, a chubby-cheeked cherub who is about 2 or 3 months older than him. By the way, he nows poops much more regularly and is a week away from 7 months!
We taller folk are putting finishing touches on the painting of our humble abode, and casually acquiring furniture to fill it up. We are looking forward to April 23rd, when we should find out how much money the federal government wants to give us to carry out some forest restoration. We're also looking forward to upcoming trips to Seattle and St. Louis, and nice wet summer. Michael is reaching the end of his tutoring duties for this school year, and gearing up to start a carpentry gig this summer. Sarah is training to run a marathon in Seattle this November, and mothering the boy just enough, but not too much. When the time is ripe, she plans to get licensed as a massage therapist here in New Mexico, and step up to the table once again.
Michael wants a truck. Sarah longs for a garden of her very own. Jaxson wishes for....well, you translate: "WAAAAAAAH, MAAAAAAAH, WAAAAAAH,.....hehe hehe hahaaha - [loud shriek][soft shriek] {GRIN}" He sure has a way with words, doesn't he? Anyway, all these things we will continue to borrow from others until they let us have them.
Our joy, however, is already ours and can't be taken, because we already give it.

I love it! And that is a very cute picture of you three. Thanks for posting, Michael, Sarah, and Jaxson!
Yes, thanks. I will try for a post tomorrow. Just got back from Wendy's.
I agree with Sarah. We all need to blog more often. I will try to do better.
So cute! I do frequent your blog as well and enjoy your thoughts there. Luke is catching up to Jaxson and recently joined him in not pooping for an uncomfortably extended period of time. He is back on track as well now. Good luck with your grant!
