Dr. Bailey said that there was inflammation and swelling in and around the spine and old scar tissue, thus causing the pain. So in answer to Sarah's question it is the old problem and possible a new one. We will have to wait and see.
The injection is suppose to fight the inflammation and thus reduce the swelling, taking care of the pain. This seems to be working just fine. There is no pain now. I am just very tired all of the time. I will keep everyone posted.
