Here are some other tidbits from January and February:
I experimented more with whole wheat flour baking. Thanks to my awesome Christmas present from Mom and Dad (Thank you!!), I've had lots of fun new recipes to use my wheat food storage for.
Brown Sugar Muffins with part whole wheat flour (they are usually more golden brown but the taste was close - or at least I think it was)
Chocolate Chip Cookies (the taste was good but the presentation....not so much)
Half Whole Wheat Blueberry Muffins (probably my favorite experiment so far)
We got the garden going which included pulling out our old boxes that had produced a lot of good plants but were falling apart. So ended the several year life of the best cherry tomato plant anyone's ever had.
Our seeds in their new planter box, courtesy of Jacob
Hazel modeling the last cherry tomato from our plant right before she devoured it
Our strawberry plants are doing great thanks to a mild winter and we're starting to get some fruit (we'll see how they do over the summer)
And our asparagus has FINALLY started producing parts that are edible (after two years of "what's that? I don't think we're supposed to eat that part")
And Hazel really liked helping plant the new seedlings
Zizah was cute all over the place.
While teaching us all about....something
Modeling her spring clothes
And while falling asleep in random places on days when she wouldn't take regular naps
This happened a lot.
A LOT, a lot.
And Speed was just awesome, as usual.
And he's 3 - in case you forgot.

Zizah is her mothers daughter. Sleeps sitting up, kind of anyway.
