In the last few weeks...
Hazel:
Was studious,
Had "bumpy hair" for school picture day,
Dove off the diving board,
And had her first soccer practice,
Which she loved,
As soon as she stopped throwing up (you didn't think I was going to take a picture of that, did you?).
Speed:
Was silly,
Was an artist (bedsheet is not Mom's favorite medium),
Went airborne,
Went swimming,
Fell asleep on the pot,
Played outside with his sister,
Jumped off the diving board,
And was silly (again).
Zizah:
Got caught reading,
Discovered the joy of computer games,
Enjoyed her baths,
Helped Daddy build large Duplo structures and DIDN'T knock them down (we're still confused),
Played the WiiU,
Let her angelic-ness show through
Decided to hug a tree/bush,
Made a break for it with the Burb,
Went swimming,
And was really stinking adorable.
Daisy:
Decided in her old age that she was queen of the yard and needed a throne.
Jacob and Carolyn:
Watched monsoons on the weather radar (yes, we're that nerdy),
Celebrated our 8 year anniversary with a DELICIOUS dinner,
Dyed my hair dark blue again (GO COUGARS!!!!),
Turned 30 (with another DELICIOUS dinner),
With some wookies (waffle cookies) for dessert,
And another kind of dessert. Ahem.
Life is very, very good.
