Time warp, anyone? Yes, my baby is a toddler now and it's kinda crazy. Her birthday was a pretty regular day, mostly because she sure couldn't tell the difference. She did get a balloon for her very own, which she was super excited about after everyone else getting balloons previously in the month. We did some cake and presents with the family over though she was about as interested in the presents as your normal one-year-old, meaning she could've cared less. But that's okay - she was still adorable to watch. Her favorite present was definitely the red ball from Hazel with the talking/singing dog from Grandma Wall a close second.
Unfortunately, Zizah's been going through some not fun changes lately. She got really sick about 3 weeks ago and vomited on and off for about 5 days. Between that, her latest doctor's appointment where she got 4 shots and a bout of constipation because she decided to stop eating or drinking anything besides cow milk for several days, she's had a rough couple of weeks. So her sleeping, napping, eating, and general mood have been off, which has been sad. She was absolutely the calmest, easiest and happiest of our kids but she's been rather feisty lately, not that I blame her. I am hoping that this is not her new normal but I suppose even if it is, we did get almost a whole year of her basically being an angel.
