He really did this. From memory. He plays it by ear (he memorized the sheet music months ago, but he has since added and arranged things to it). He sat for hours transcribing and transposing it on noteflight, which is a site he learned about from his piano teacher because he has started to compose his own music. He really is very, very good, but he still says he hates piano :)
