Michael -- look at you, gettin' your Anne of Green Gables quote on! Although I think Anne said, "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery." Anne Shirley isn't the first to have said that phrase. I just googled to find out that Charles Caleb Colton coined the phrase in 1820 in "Lacon." I have too much time on my hands.
